It is commonly danced to Pop\, Rock\, Funk\, Blues\, and Jazz. See the following video a great summary. West Coast Swing Video Link\n				\n\n\n					Do you offer beginner lessons?\n					Yes\, beginners are welcome. No experience is required.\n				\n\n\n					Do I need a partner?\n					Nope! Dance partners aren’t necessary for attending our events.\n				\n\n\n					Do I need special shoes?\n					Many dancers wear shoes with velvet or suede bottoms\, but these are not required We recommend flat shoes such as ballet flats\, loafers\, or sneakers with loose grip bottoms\, closed backs\, and laces. Though\, on rainy or snowy days\, we do ask that you bring a separate\, clean pair of shoes to keep our dance floor dry & salt-free.\n				\n\n\n					Is it family-friendly event?\n					Minors (14+ recommended) must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older and the legal guardian must register on behalf of the minor before participating. We do our best to limit explicit music\, but we cannot guarantee that nothing will slip past. If you are okay with bringing\, and accompanying\, the minor\, we are would love to have you both join us!\n				\n\n\n					Where do I enter?\n					Use “Door 1” — look for our A-frame sign just outside the entrance.\n				\n\n\n					Where do I park?\n					The venue has two dedicated lots accessed from Market Street and the alley\, plus free street parking. During First Fridays in summer\, parking can be more limited — additional street parking may be available a few blocks away\n				\n\n\n\n					Is it handicap accessible?\n					Yes! If you need handicap access\, please notify us in advance so we can open the accessible entrance in the alley lot. We’re happy to help!\n				\n\n
